Class-8 detailing for owner-operators and fleets. Aluminum polish, paint decontamination, full sleeper interior reset, and optional ceramic protection — done on-site or in-shop, scheduled around the load.


What this service is, and who it is for

Class-8 trucks live a different life than the cars in the customer driveway. They run more miles in a month than most vehicles run in a year. The cab is a residence as much as a workplace. Aluminum oxidizes. Bug grime sets like enamel after a Midwest summer. Floor mats hold a ledger of every fuel stop and every loading dock between Indianapolis and El Paso.

A semi detail is the reset. The bunk gets extracted. The dash gets stripped of dust and conditioned. Aluminum returns to chrome-grade reflection. Paint is clayed and decontaminated so the next coat of protection has a clean surface to bond to. The truck looks ready for the photo on the company brochure — and the driver is sitting in something that smells like a vehicle, not a long-haul shift.

How the schedule works

We work around the load. Drop-and-go in McCordsville is the most common arrangement; on-site at terminal yards by appointment for fleet work. Most tractors complete in a single day. Full polish, correction, and ceramic protection runs two.

How the semi detailing runs

Step by step, measured at every stage.

  1. 01

    Pre-rinse.

    Hot pressure wash to knock the heavy road grime off. Mud, salt, dead bugs, and tar aren't coming out under foam alone — they have to be moved physically before any chemistry can do its job.

  2. 02

    Foam and bug treatment.

    Bug remover dwell on the bug shield, visor, and grille. Foam cannon over the rest of the cab and trailer. Long dwell, no scrubbing yet — the chemistry does the work.

  3. 03

    Polish or oxidation removal.

    Aluminum tanks, skirting, and wheels polished to a mirror. Oxidized paint compounded if the booked tier calls for it — rigs that have been on the road for a million miles come back deep again.

  4. 04

    Optional ceramic coating.

    Owners Pride or System X applied to aluminum and paint where it was booked. Cuts wash time on long-haul routes, slows oxidation between buffings, and keeps the polished finish presentable longer.

  5. 05

    Wheel and tire detail.

    Iron remover and degreaser on every wheel face. Tires dressed evenly — no slung-off product on the fenders an hour after pickup.

  6. 06

    Final dry.

    Microfiber pass across the cab. The truck leaves pulled-tight, not water-spotted. If it shows up at the truck stop and gets compliments, we did it right.

    Full interior detail of the cab and sleeper — extraction on bunk and carpet, leather and vinyl conditioned, dash and console deep-cleaned, glass polished, headliner refreshed. The truck the driver actually wants to climb back into.

  2. 02

    Aluminum Polish and Paint Decontamination

    Polish on tanks, wheels, and bumpers, restoring the mirror finish that catches eyes at the truck stop. Paint is clayed and decontaminated; rail dust and road tar are removed before any optional correction or coating step.

  3. 03

    Ceramic Protection — Tractor or Trailer

    Owners Pride or System X ceramic coating over polished aluminum and paint. Easier washes, less rebuffing, slower oxidation. Tier and term are picked to fit the route and the rebuild cycle.
